More people are using social media in a very unsocial location.

One of the highlights of a new media study just released today by Nielsen is that 40% of young adults are posting on social media in the bathroom.

Time-shifting of TV programs grew by almost 2 hours of content this year, and fewer people are watching live TV.

TV is still the biggest outlet for media consumption, but streaming over the Internet is catching up.

The study also found that each American owns an average of four digital devices, and a majority of households now has a high-definition television.

84 percent of people who have a tablet or a smartphone say they use them as second screens while watching TV.
