Despite all the years of planning and all the money put into planning and hosting the 2014 Winter Olympics, all eyes are on Russia and the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony, which took place in the Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi, showcases the “Parade of Nations”. With 88 different countries participating, it is very important for Russia to maintain its reputation. Consistent with previous Olympics, many of the details have remained under wraps until it airs all over the world.
